Lifestyle medicine is the future of prophylactic health care. We all have a role to play in looking after our physical and mental wellbeing. Regular exercise is an important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Physiotherapists have a wealth of knowledge and experience to educate and motivate individuals so they can incorporate regular exercise into their busy lives.
If we do exercises which are not time consuming, don't require going to the gym or using expensive equipment we are more likely to do them.
By adding our exercises onto something we do regularly each day, (e.g. brush our teeth, put the kettle on) we increase the likelihood of doing them. They become and enjoyable part of our daily routine.
